A week from today I have a very big and exciting show at SOB’s (Sounds of Brazil), the famous live music venue located in Soho (NYC). I’ll be performing for the first time ever with my 9-piece Bachata band! 2 sets, including all of the unreleased material off of my Bachata album. Doors open at 6pm, Bachata dance lessons at 7pm, and we go on with our first set at about 9pm and play until close! Hope to see you there!

This picture is a still from video footage of a photoshoot for my Kickstarter page. Cari Vuong, fashion photographer and friend of my sister, shot the photos and my sister captured the video on her iPhone. I was later able to edit both into my Kickstarter real.

Johi's Birthday

For my best friend Johi’s birthday, I performed “Killing Me Softly” at The Darby in NYC’s Meatpacking District. In looking back, this is one of those nights where certain aspects of my destiny as an artist were present: Johi is a large part of how I came to speak Spanish… and the song choice that night, which has always been Johi’s most favorite song to hear me sing, became an indirect influencer in my decision to do Bachata… but more on that later.
